CARES has Virginia Neighborhood Assistance Program tax credits. Tax credits are based on 40% of the donation value. To qualify, individuals must donate at least $500 between January and June or July and December. Business must donate at least $1,000. Business donations may be cash, merchandise, professional services, etc. To qualify, the donation must be made directly to CARES.
