Clothing Closet Policy

All items in the Community Service Center Clothing Closet are provided free of charge to community members in need. To ensure fairness and availability for everyone, quantity limits do apply.

Clothing Donation Guidelines

We gratefully accept gently used, clean, and current-season clothing to support individuals and families in need. Your thoughtful donations help us provide community members with dignity and comfort during times of transition.

Accepted Items:

• Clean, gently worn clothing, shoes, and coats

• Items that are in good condition — free of stains, holes, tears, fading, or strong odors

• In-season and up-to-date styles suitable for immediate use

• Clothing that is neatly folded and securely bagged or boxed

• Small kitchen appliances (e.g., toasters, microwaves, coffee makers)

• Housewares (e.g., dishes, cookware, utensils, linens)

• Furniture items that can be safely dropped off during donation hours

We Cannot Accept:

• Items that have been left outside, exposed to the weather, or appear rummaged through

• Donations delivered outside of business hours

Donation Drop-Off Days:
To best serve our community and manage space and staffing, we kindly ask that donations be dropped off on Mondays and Fridays only.
Tuesdays through Thursdays are reserved for food distribution and client shopping services.

Unattended donations left outside the Service Center will be discarded.

Shelter services are currently unavailable due to ongoing renovations.

Update (as of May 1, 2025): The CARES Shelter remains under construction as we work to improve safety, comfort, and long-term care for the individuals and families we serve. We are committed to completing this project as efficiently as possible.
